It is so long since I added to the forum.
Has anyone an interest in Fabric Painting?
My latest creation is pillow cases. I used to hand paint them but now print from my original designs. As soon as I get my camera off my grandson I will post some photos.
Our winter has really set in and we are having really heavy rain. I thought bed could be the right place with a good book!!
However I have too much to do to be lying around.

Hi Katy, Yes, please do show your fabric painting / printing here, would love to know more about how you go about printing on pillow cases. I hand painted (fabric paints) the kids bedroom curtains when they were smaller, quite a task as they were pretty large, they looked great and made quite an impression with their friends. It's a great way of personalizing or individualizing a range of soft furnishings. Look forward to seeing your photos. ta Di :>)

I would be interested in this! I made a wall hanging for a lady a couple of years ago and part of her payment to me was a really big box full of the little bottles of paint. Most of them were craft acrylics but there were 60 or so bottles and tubes of fabric paints and 30 or so bottles of glass paints. A lot of them are still sealed so I know at least that many are still good. It would be great to have some experienced advice!

Eddy, how lucky to have all those paints :>) I have a couple of bottles from a few years ago - so I have yet to check if they are still usable - my daughter is planning some fabric paining next week so I had better dig them out. I also look forward to some expert tips from Katy that I can pass on to her. Great photos in the photo section too Katy thanks for those :>) Di
