DaisyClay handles very well, frills , cups and curves are made easily and stay in shape. And the answer to your million dollar question, it does not shrink. we designed this clay after working many years with LunaClay and Thai clay and a mix of both of them and still not happy with the results. Specially about coloring the clay, mixing it with oil or water color always degraded the clay and made it harder to work with and makes the clays lose its properties.
DaisyClay is colored with water color from a tube, we now also import our own brand of paint called DaisyPaint, this is a perfect match for the DaisyClay as you can see here

how does it feel to handle daisy clay ??? do u easily get the frills n cups n curves u give to the petal ? n million dollar question does it shrink ?

I think you can see it like this, air-dry clay is the common name for all mediums that dry without using heat. Cold porcelain is mostly made from corn starch and glue, there are home made recipes and commercial cold porcelain brands and they all have their own properties. We made our brand air-dry clay called DaisyClay, this clay is specially designed to make clay flowers and gives great results.

I AM VERY MUCH INSPIRED BY WORK DONE IN DECO CLAY BUT ITS NOT AVAILABLE HERE IN PAKISTAN SO WE STICK TO THE HOMEMADE DOUGH RECIPE ... I JUST WANTED TO ASK WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO MEDIUMS I MEAN .... COLD PORCELAIN AND AIR DRY CLAY ???

I'm so glad to have found this group. Being new to air dry clays my efforts are pretty hit and miss. I have the book Clay for all Seasons which is fabulous but it doesn't teach the real intricacies of making a truly realistic flower so I'm hoping to learn from you members. Joyce

Hi All I am very new to any clays and drove into town to get some to practice with. It was the only variety available so will have a play today. I feel very humbled by such a lot of great talant but hope to get help when needed. Barbara
