No 'may' about it Grant - Rima's site is absolutely inspiring, full of wondrous creations - I also popped along to the main 'Hermitage' following the 'signposts' into all those lovely little rooms within. A Lovely journey, thanks so much for the lift in spirits :-)

and ongoing new year wishes to you too :-)

Yes Grant I have used PMC, way back in the 80's I did 2years of silversmithing at the Unley University but had to give it up because of an as then undiagnosed thyroid problem. Silversmithing was the love of my life and because I lost all my strength I sold all my equipment, too late when the doctor finally found out my problem, so when PMC came I thought at last I can get back to silver work, but sadly I found it just too expensive so I lost myself in machine knitting, polymer clay work and folk art and numerous other crafts. I have only recently found needle felting and am loving it because I can incorporate a lot of the skills I have learned over the years from other crafts into this very forgiving 'medium'. Thank you Grant for your link I'm off to have a look at it now, hugs Joyce

Hi Joyce.

Have you tried PMC (Precious Metal Clay) yet?

This is, as you say, a "great place to see dolls and creatures from another aspect" and some wonderful ones look as though they are also, "from another World" - JoJo World ( http://www.jojo-world.co.uk/)
All best

Hi I'm Joyce and have recently been making things with Air Dry and Porcelain clay, for the last couple of months I've been side-tracked with needle felting and so I thought this group would be a great place to see the dolls and creatures from another aspect. Having looked at a lot of the work on this part of the forum I think I will gain a great deal of inspiration from it. Hugs Joyce

welcome Evelyn,
I believe the best is to use mass ready, because it is more practical, fast and economical. I love cold porcelain. to learn more visit http://cpworld.synthasite.com

I am new in this group . I am working in cold porcelain. I am collecting as many recipes as I can get. I am still looking for the definitive "Flexible" cold porcelain recipe. This would be something that would always stay supple and flexible.I have worked alot in super sculpy and fimo.
