I never did ceramic paste, but if I hear something or if I find some recipe that looks intersting I'll let you know.

Hi Aarti

Yes, you can use acrylic paint to color your cold porcelain paste, and for strong colors like red, I recommend to use oil paint, because too much paint can ruin the consistence of the paste.

Hi Aarti
Thanks for your comment in my gerberas box. In this case the glossy effect you see in the flowers is a result of two things;
First: I didn't use white for coloring the paste and I added florescent powder pigments to give the color you see.
Second: after the flowers were dry I applied a glossy water based varnish to seal them.
