Just entered the world of flowermaking and am loving it ! I am still a novice at cold porcelain, nylon flowers and leaves. But after making several flowers varieties how do I display them ?

Today is Mothers Day , I lost my mom long ago but her smile , her fragnance and warmth still lingers in my memories. I have created this cold porcelain flower basket wrapped in her thoughts. She would have been happy to see me making beautiful flowers and keeping myself busy come what may !

Is lamasa just a Spanish name for Cold Porcelain ? I found that lamasa recipe excludes water like some c p recipes and rest of the method and ingredients are common. I have heard a lot about lamasa but not much about c p except now.

Last month we went on a short vacation to a hill station and I saw the most amazing flowers which I had never seen before. Back home I found out that they were Fuschias and tried my hand at recreating them in cold porcelain. If I could I would have grown them in my garden, alas , they need a cool climate !
