Hi Barbara, Thanks for your reply. Isn't it great to meet so many gifted people? I have been a friend of Katy for many years. She is a very talented lady and does not hesitate to help others. Hope to go up and see her soon and get into the cold porcelain properly. I do ceramics each Tuesday and have done for many years. Have a class in Paverpol on the 5th Dec to go to and mosiac one on the 19th Dec. When you are interested in crafts there is no possibilit of getting bored is there. cheers Valerie
Thank you so much Barbara for your interest. The only cakes I've ever iced were Christmas cakes and they were just blobs of icing to represent snow lol. Even so when I started with these clay flowers I found only one book dealing with it so I turned to cake decorating books and learned a lot of the techniques from them. Also Tarapat's tuition helped me with my first orchid and I've since carried on enjoying making various flowers which I find pictures of in magazines. The flowers are all mine as are the grasses. Hugs Joyce
Very controlled Barbara. Good for you and it is a good idea to finish projects.
How many of us have "Projects" in the cupboard !!! waiting to be finished. Haha.
Cheers
Katy
I love the water lily. Is that one of your photos? Photography is another of my hobbies!! Have some amazing Rose photos from the National Rose show, here in Whangarei and then the Hamilton show.
Welcome to AHC. It is a nice place to be.

Hi Barbara, Welcome to Art Hobby Craft. I love that name "Bay of Plenty" :-) Please do take some time to look around, and to connect with many other NZ'ers :-) Which crafts are you starting to learn? Can we help? regards Diane
