Tell us here... My main art, hobby, craft is ....
I'm a very classic, vintage person, so I love classic, vintage art. I love sketching with pencil and colored pencil, and filling in every corner of the page with the emotion I'm trying to convey. Currently I'm undertaking a business venture to create an online shop with my designs on them. I'm just getting started, so there aren't many products up yet. But I'm working on them constantly and will be adding more very soon.
I joined Art hobby to:
learn a new craft, connect with others, share techniques and advice, start a group page, start a business, gain marketing tips

Tell Us More (we'd like to get to know you better). About Me and My Art, Hobby, Craft:
I'm 21 years old and live in a gorgeous little beach side town in Orange County, CA. I'm married to an amazing man (we just celebrated our 2 year anniversary) who I'm head over heels for, and madly inlove with. We share very similar passions in art, love, and in life. I opened my online shop to help us earn some extra money because we hope to move to France in a year or two, where he will go to animation school full time, and I will study art and have more freedom to utilize my talents. It would be an amazing experience that would most definetly change our lives.

But as for other things... I love the Lord, my family and friends, good food, good wine, my husband's cooking, a hot day at the beach, Disneyland, anything chocolate, cuddling, movies, naps on a Sunday afternoon, shopping, staying up late, Hawaiian sunsets and sunrises, and House, Family Guy, Ghost Hunters, Hell's kitchen, and yes... The Girls Next Door. I want sooo much to travel and see that world, especially Europe. And I long for Paris..... and the villas and vineyards of the French countryside.

I've very recently started drawing again after a two or three year break, so many of my techniques and ideas are a bit rusty. I'm looking forward to not only remembering what I've learned, but finding the inspiration to turn a blank canvas into a masterpiece.

I'll be posting my artwork on here very soon.......

Please visit my online shop. I've just started it, so there aren't many designs up, but I'm working hard on it and will have more up very soon.

Gift Baskets

I was wondering if anyone has any experience in making gift baskets. I'm looking into starting a gift basket business, and am getting so very excited at the idea. But I have so many questions and don't really want to rely on internet based articles for advice, but people that have actually done it. If you've had experience, can anyone tell me what your first products were? Did you go all out with gourmet everything or start small? Also what was your start up cost? I'm planning on really getting… Continue

I love your vision and enthusiasm and,as Diane remarked-cheerful energy. It is infectious !
I can relate to how you mentioned that you like to fill each page with emotion. In the art world, don't let anyone stop you from doing that-I have had criticism from people who comment on all the details which I love to incorporate..After some confusion,I decided to keep on being myself-I hope you will always be yourself, too.not what someone else puts on you.I am looking forward to seeing your art work.

Hello Briana,
Don't give up...yes everything takes patience, never lose faith, always believe in yourself and don't think designing as a job, but take it as your hobby so you can enjoy creating with no pressures. Your designs are great, just like you say about your art, hobby and craft..classic.
Thank you Briana, I'll let you know if I need to find out something.
Can't wait to see your next designs! = )
