Tell Us More (we'd like to get to know you better). About Me and My Art, Hobby, Craft:
would love some advise on books how to make figurines.
and would love to communicate with people who do this craft.I have had to discover bit by bit by myself since when I came to australia i had just learned to make the paste and was given some samples of flowers. From then on it has been a journey of discovery.
Absolutely love it.

making hundreds of small flowers for a hydrangea!!!!

This has been my day at home ,had to stop making little flowers as my eyes got very tired( 4 hours of work).
Came to the computer and the eyes are now tired of the computer!!!
GOOD HEAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, happy to be back with my hands in the dough and loving my newly set up room for this purpose, it has a TV as i love to hear voices around me, and occasionally turn my head to view what's going on , a special thermos keeps my coffee warm and the dog barks occassionally lifting me up the chair… Continue

Cold Porcelain in Australia

I have been searching the net for a few months and found that Cold Porcelain has expanded to many countries, but have not found any websites in Australia.
This most likely does not mean nobody does this craft here.
I am sure some South American women that have migrated here practice this craft but perhaps in a very hobbyist way with no intentions of going out of the sphere.
My intentions are to teach this craft.
I have been making flowers for 23 years but as well doing ceramic sculpture and paint… Continue

Carmen,

The flowers are not made from cold porcelain .. they are made from soft clay ... Claycraft. I do not own or use any molds. Each petal is made in the palm of my hand.
