At 10:15pm on October 27, 2008, eddy said…: Hi Judy! Thanks for the comment about the butterfly house! I found it at a thrift store...it was a real "fixer-upper"! I sanded it all clean and repainted it, added the shingles and I made the flowers out of novelty buttons ( from wally-world, no less ) on twisted wire, the leaves are beads on wire, just loop and twist...nothing fancy or difficult! The butterflies are beads and wire also, I found instructions on-line somewhere...not sure I could find the page again though!

Absolutely fabulous to work with. On these pieces I have worked the body of the petals etc. with white (opaque) paste and tipped the finished pieces with chalk dusting.
I iced the cake for a couple who came home, from China,to NZ to get married and then took the decorations back for the ceremony in China.
