Hi Marion.
Just to let you know I will be down in Hamilton for the Rose show at the end of November. Maybe we could have a cuppa some time.
Cheers

Hi Marion, Just a wee note to say I will be at the Orchid show on Sunday, what time do you think you will get there? I have just got back from our 10 day Tiki Tour trip so thought I better get in touch with you and Katy :) See you Val.

Hello Marion I received one E-Mail from you on the 11August 008 so it seems as though they are getting through O.K but I wish it had a spellchecker on the site.

Hi Marion, I am a single women in my 61st year, I spent 8 months in Brisbane then came home to look after my 90 year old mum, we do not live in the same house but are not far apart, I am at her place two or three times a day. I have always loved craft, it takes me away from things of the day!!! have 8 lovely grandchildren. Narnie

Hi Marion, articles and features of interest on other websites are fine to direct to - the only policy I have on re-directing to other sites is that this site is for active members to promote themselves and their art and if that results in sales too that's brilliant. I don't want AHC to be a free for all advertising portal.

I'll be looking forward to seeing it, well done. x Di
(thanks for asking btw)

Marion, I wondered if that last message sent would get to you.
Yes, it was about the Orchid show and that is great that you would come up for the Sunday. I will let the other girls know which day as I am not sure whether they were doing Saturday or Sunday. Sounds like a real fun show and I am so looking forward to chatting with you all.
Hope this shocking weather has well and truly passed on.
Hugs
Katy

Good morning all....
with water-colour,there are several things i have found throughout the years..as you say,Ron-muddiness happens !
I use a limited palette.A couple of blues,a couple of yellows and a red, with a foundation glaze of pale clear lemon.
Also there are opaque watercolours such as the ochres, which I like for atmosphere, and they must be put on wet and quickly and not touched again. And then there are the transparent which can be built up in layers, drying and then wetting again-you can get deep richness-almost jewel-like with transparents.
Barry-it is unwise to put E mails or addresses publicly. However somewhere here there is a place to write to friends.A couple of NZ ladies are arranging a meeting at an Auckland venue in a month's time, which will be so lovely, and we have written privately.
The founders of our town originally came from Nottingham,so the large local pub is called the 'Nottingham castle'.
