French Flower Beading...

This is such an amazing craft form. Its so addictive, I just want to try more and more of this technique. I have made a few flowers, a brooch so far will soon post their pictures.

I would love to get connected with all the french flower beaders so we can learn from each other by sharing our experiences.

Happy beading...

Hi, you can make the petals without puttting wires. Get pieces of foam, acrylic suffings, do give support and keep the shape of the petal. Murtuza, make sure that your clay has a harder consistancy. It will be helpfull if I can see what you are trying to do. Good Luck Blessings Amira

Well, the best way to assemble flower,in my opinion it is to do it while the clay is still moist, glues a lot better. So, no, I do not let dry to assemble it.
You can open the petal give the shape that you wanted, then paint it while the clay still moist, use a hair dryer and dry the paint, and assemble it. Now you can color the clay and mount the flower. "g", I hope I am not confusing you Blessings Amira

Hi Murtuza. Tha acrylic paint that comes in a tube it is very thick for cp, you have to dilute it very well, and if it is acrylic from a bottle, I still dilute it a little bit. I use water,ut you can use other mediums if you prefer. Hope this help. When I paint in my pieces, I prefer to do the basecoat, in two layers, then is ready for painting. Blessings

Hello Murtuza, thanks for your coment in my page. I am not very active over here, I know that the moderator, Diana Stafford, has this site for us to exchange ideias on AHC or cold porcelain. The little girl I made it following the step by step from a foreing magazine. If you like I can try to translate and pass on to you. I usualy mix clay home made and clay that I buy from Brasil. The ratio is half and half. Tell me how can I help you and I will do it. Blessings Amira
