Oh my, aren't you the clever one! You never fail to amaze me Ron.
As Moire taffeta frays so easily how have you managed to prevent threads everywhere.
Good to see you back again and the Pointsettias are quite perfect.

I have been in the arts my entire life. I have been a Performer, Graphic Artist, Display Designer, Textile/Fashion Designer, Costume Designer, Theatrical Set Designer and have gone thru a multitude of Crafts. Several various art/craft awards/prizes have been bestowed on me. Currently I have been very involved in Ceramics/Pottery and my latest venture...Clay Flowers. I have a small studio in my home 'STUDIO VII' Decorative & Fired Arts and teach ceramics and clay flower making. Am hopeing to get a website up and running soon.
I joined Art hobby to:
learn a new craft, share techniques and advice, connect with others, gain marketing tips
I would also like to learn how to :
sell my work
Which Country or Town are you located?
USA...Allentown, Pennsylvania
Tell Us More (we'd like to get to know you better). About Me and My Art, Hobby, Craft:
Thank you Ron.
I will place your 'how to' in my book of things to do.
The new inventions for working with fabrics is quite amazing and the quilters and machine artists must be having a ball.
I have had my Bernina sewing machine for maybe 30 years, after having one with all the bells and whistles, traded down to a basic machine. I wanted to try Free hand machine embroidery but didn't think I could drop the feeder. Durrrr!! If all else fails read the manual!!!!!. It is quite a long story so wont go any further with that.
I find you such a creative soul and you obviously enjoy what you are doing as it shows in the results. An inspiration to others.
Have a happy day.
Hugs
Katy
Hello Ron,
Your Creation is a divine gift to us all.
Your realistic presentations & orientation are all so enlightening. The
clay flowers and you are partners in your creation & is an inspiration for
my work now. Each piece is spectacular, magical & an adventure. I
personally feel that the best classroom in the world is at your door. Wish I was your student. Your work is awesome ! ! !
Thanks for liking my work too.
Regards,
Naina.
Thanks sweetie, I will check out artlicensingblog.com when I get a free moment. I'll let you know what I learn.
On another thought.....I wonder if it's worth submitting artwork to magazines such as ART DOLL quarterly or CREATE & DECORATE in order to get free publicity? In your case..maybe a pottery, clay magazine. My thinking is if we get some exposure to the masses maybe someone will be interested and contact us for what we do an license us. HMMMM.
i already visit your recommended website and i found a spooky diorama and tried to make it in a small version with my own style and common materials (it's only 14.5x10 cm)
hope you can comment it after the photos is on my album^^
i really appreciate your ideas for theater but it's kinda hard to works it here...not much theater spot i know in my place...but maybe one day i could work it, right now i only concentrate on my works first^^
you can say i'm only a starter on creating miniatures (i can only draw in my school days) but with Mae i started to making things^^ and i hope you can help me on creating some miniatures or a diorama^^
thanks for the advice^^
regards
omittchi (you can call me omi any way..it simple than to omittchi^^)
Hi Ron..
long time no see..guess I had a mood swing so I stopped creating = )
Omittchi is my work partner, she likes to make miniatures and also very creative so we made those tiny cake and dioramas together and that's when I started to create again.
You're as busy as usual..feels like time is never enough right?
Well it's always pleasure to see You..keep in touch will you
Hug,
Paula
