Tell us here... My main art, hobby, craft is ....

My main interests are Casting / Sculpting.
Although I stress, I am a total beginner.
I do have some experience of Live casting in plaster from my youth.
I started out modelling for a local artist, and wound up working with him.

I joined Art hobby to:

learn a new craft, connect with other crafters & artists, share techniques and advice

I would also like to learn how to :

Tell Us More (we'd like to get to know you better). About Me and My Art, Hobby, Craft:

I'd like to broaden my knowledge in general on the topics indicated earlier (Casting / Sculpting).
Mainly I would plan to putthis into use around the home, or for fun activities with my kids.
If I get good.....maybe even personalised gifts for friends at Christmas or Birthdays. I've already given out some homemade bathbombs/ Bath salts in painted glass and they went down a storm.
My Wife and I are finding ourselves longing for the more homey style of life.
Suburbuia's nice and all....but we're both country folk by birth and long to get back to it in some way.
