Hi Dolly
My name is Patty and I learned my cold porcelain recipe in Brazil where I took classes, and when I moved to the USA I had to adapt my original recipe because I couldn't find the same ingredients.
So after a long year of trying and wasting…
Hi Dolly,
In my recipe I do not cook the clay, I use the same ingredients but mix as chapati dough. Really the tools are pricey. I sometimes collect my sons clay moulds or make templates on cardboard only veining is a bit difficult.
thank you Fehmida, I'm going to have some fun tommorrow playing with my dough!! Katy suggested brushing the dye on the finished piece as well, so I'm going to try both ways. I'm thinking this art form is apt to be become additive!!!
my interests are varied, I enjoy crazy quilting, cross stitch, silk ribbon embroidery, gardening. I love to use watercolor pencils and regular colored pencils on fabric, florals are my first love and anything having to do with them I want to try. I did some dough crafts about twenty years ago, but my life was so busy at the time that my hobbies had to take a backseat. I look forward to meeting and learning from all of the talented people in this group. Thank you for having me.
I joined Art hobby to:

I retired two years ago and at first thought I would go crazy with so much time on my hands, not so, I just started doing things I like to do rather than things I had to do!! love to work with my hands and make something beautiful.
I'm honoured to be your friend. Isn't the internet wonderful, it lets me get to know people and make friends from all over the world!! I am going to look up Rubina's recipe right now, thank you.
