Art Hobby Crafts Creative Network

inspirational arts and crafts people

Hi to everyone who reads about me. I love all sorts of crafts, have tried so oo many. Know I should concentrate on fewer and get them right, but still like to keep dabbling at several at least.

Done pressed floweres, probably the first things I did. Like using skeletons leaves and mosses, in wild garden themes.

Have a pottery kiln, when it gets into a usable area again. Like making garden scultures, NZ theme small pieces. Not very confident with colour yet. Been to few classes over the years.

Just tried painting. Been to beginners art class. Not sure where to go from here. Maybe really should do The Learning Connection Creativity course. Any feed back about this would be great.

Waiting for my 'studio' (back of a shed) to get organaised, before I really can get back into the messy crafts. (pottery mosaics etc).

Been doing a Organic course, run by PGG, 1 day a week. Thats opening my eyes a bit.

Always love growing things. Done a horticultural course in 2001, and worked in a nursery for year.

That probably sounds like I've done lots of courses. Most just block courses, but nice to keep learning.

Love to connect with other similar crafty people.

Apologies for the late reply to your blog post A Very warm welcome. As for doing lots of courses, isn't that how we learn new things? Keep doing what you love and are interested in. :-)

My little kiln is in my garage - reaching it is another matter! So i know how you feel. Pottery/ceramics takes up a fair bit of room and what with all the other crafts dotted around the house (my visitors despair) :-)

Have fun, there are some great people here and many from NZ.
