Today I did what my dear friend Veena had suggested , tried out Rubinas recipe . Must say it was a success ! My red roses are drying upside down , as advised by some and have come out well !
Will post pix when the roses are ready !!

I was just about to say that too Fehmida :-) I have tried in the microwave, but it wasn't a very reliable result, the pan cooking certainly gave a much better cold porcelain paste. I used Katy's cold porcelain recipe, which is really good, with no drying out or cracking.

Making dough in a pan its much better,you have control over cooking

Hi Fehmida, yes my first attempt was in the micro , maybe the dough got overcooked !

This is a good video too, by Art Hobby Craft Member, Rosana, for making cold porcelain paste in a pan, rather than a microwave, although in Spanish, you can see the cold porcelain ingredients and how it's made.
