CP using mochiko rice starch and argo starch. When making baskets or vegetables, I mix 1 cup mochiko rice starch alone with one cup of regular starch, adding 2 tablespoons vaseline or baby oil(save some for kneading) add 1 tsp lemon or peroxide for preservative just before it pulls away from the teflon pan. Wrapped in saran wrap will keep this CP a few months.
The only problem with working with CP is that you can rearrange the flowers once they've dried.

I make cold porcelain with baby powder and starch. For a single ball of clay, I use 1/2c baby powder, 1 cup pva glue or elmers white glue, I add 1/2c argo starch onto a sturdy and only for CP teflon pan,on low heat then add 2 tablespoons vaseline or baby oil(use extra for when you're going to knead the clay) and add a tsp or peroxide or tsp lemon for preservative. I used to use formol until I discovered that it was cancer causing. When the ball of clay moves off the side of the pan, turn the ball onto a cold plate and when you can handle it, knead it then wrap it up with saran wrap. The smell of this CP is exquisite and is extremely smooth. The clay will stay at least 6 to 8 weeks.
